世界の中心にあるみんなを見守る命の木、ユッグドラシル（宇宙樹）は、あらゆる木の中でも一番大きく一番美しい木。
枝は天の上まで伸びていて、見渡す世界すべてに葉を広げています。
困難の中でも、青々と枯れることはありません。
ユッグドラシルは、三本の根に支えられて立っていて、周りには様々な動物や神々、巨人や女神が暮らしています。
十月は、このユッグドラシルをとりまく、北欧神話の世界をすこしずつ描いていこうと思います。
遠いむかし、遠い北欧でも、現代の我々と同じように「世界はどうやってはじまったのだろう？人間は？」と、問い続け、
考え、空想し、また実際の生活の中で語り継がれてきた神話。
物理、数学、科学、文学、史学、語学、、、子どもたちの様々な興味を引き出す小さな種になればいいなぁと思います。
